Welcome to the Rockhampton Lapidary Club.
We do all aspects of fossicking, cabbing, faceting, casting, wire wrapping (jewellery making) and silversmithing.
Our club room is open to the public and new members are welcome to join one of our sessions run on Mondays &, Tuesday evenings, Wednesday afternoon and Saturday mornings (juniors) and Saturday afternoons.
SESSION TIMES:
Monday - Silversmithing and Faceting 7pm - 9.30pm.
Tuesday - Cabochon and general 7pm - 9.30pm.
Wednesday - 1pm - 4pm Jewelry, cabochon, faceting casting silversmithing, wire wrapping (jewellery making).
Saturday - Juniors 9am - 11:30am Cabochon and wire wrapping (jewellery making).
Saturday - General 1:30pm - 4:30pm General workshop.
Casting and wire wrapping (jewellery making) courses available please request.
COSTS:
General - $20 plus $10 nomination and $4 insurance (then $24 annually).
Pensioners and Juniors (9 - 16 y/o) - $10 plus $10 nomination and $4 insurance ($14 annually).
Each session - $3 adults $2 Juniors.
Silversmithing, casting and wire wrapping - material costs apply.
